First, I will start of by saying that over the last year I have been on a weight loss and body management journey. I have lost about 40 pounds and am in the process of keeping it off over the winter. I started by running, not using any supplements, and dieting. At first, I had some results going the all natural route, gym, running, and diet for weight maintenance.

Over the last few months, I began the 2 month insanity home workout program. Initially, I was using a basic multivitamin and post-workout protein. So with that said, I was looking for something else to help me through the crazy insanity workouts since I was noticing results but felt exhausted during and after some workouts. I can break the review into different aspects of the product itself:

Taste of Beachbody Energy and Endurance:
I dont mind the taste at all. In fact, some would say this product tastes like 7-up or a sprite alternative. It doesnt taste cheap as one might think, or grainy, or like cardboard, haha. As any of you might imagine, the glory of a pre-workout drink is it is adaptablity and can be mixed with really anything you could imagine. If you are considering this product, I would suggest you try it with different combinations to see what you like the most. If all else fails and you have trouble downing something like this, use the old hold your nose and chug technique. But I must warn you… it doesnt really taste all that bad. Most times, I will just fill up a small glass of water and mix the E&E in with it. Taste gets a 5/5

Functionality of Beachbody Energy and Endurance:
The product does exactly what it is designed to do. As the product suggests, it gives you the energy and stamina to complete your workout, while burning fat and fueling your workout. Usually, I do eat before I workout, so I cannot speak if you can take the product without something in the morning, but i couldnt see it being a problem (although i certainly wouldnt suggest it). Usually, E&E gives me the desire to want to work out in the morning, and the power to push my limits especially during intense workouts. I cannot speak to the amount of energy it gives you if you are an evening workout person, I’m pretty sure it does have some caffeine in it, so I would be careful there. I have tried E&E both during an insanity workout and going to the gym for a good old fashioned workout. Both seem to work very well. I would, however, experiment whether you can handle the entire package or half. Usually, the whole package is too much for me, so i just stick with half. But as far as functionality, I say the product gets a 4/5. I love the product and I am sure there are alternatives, but I like sticking to something that works with my body and I have found success in.

Side-Effects of Beachbody Energy and Endurance:
Thankfully, I have not had any side effects from this product (knock on wood), and the product is usually pretty good at keeping pre-workout jitters to a minimum. I think this has to do with the natural types of ingredients contained in the product. Some would say that there are some alternative products, such as things found at GNC, that can give you some pre-workout jitters. That is probably my biggest fear, coupled with taking the product and forgetting to workout. Thankfully, I have not experienced either in the 2 months I have used this product. But as a buyer, I guess some should consider how supplements can react to your body. I use E&E cause it works and I havent had any weird side effects…. 5/5

Adaptability of Beachbody Energy and Endurance:
The joy of a pre-work formula is its ability to use it in many different ways to get the desired effect. With E&E, as with most pre-workout supplements, you can take it by itself with water, mix it with breakfast, put it in a smoothie, or find many other combinations. With a product such as this, it is very helpful that you can use it in such a way to gain the maximum benefit. Once again, I think it is really about trial and error here. Personally, I like the fact that I can put it in a smoothie, or just take it with a glass of water 15-30 minutes before a workout. Usually, though, I can feel the product beginning to work in around 15 minutes flat. So I can tell you, that the product does work! 5/5

Price of Beachbody Energy and Endurance:
This is probably my biggest draw back to using E&E. But as all Beachbody products, E&E is somewhat expensive. I have learned to cut down on the cost, by using half a pack. This also helps with the intensity of its effects. I think you can get it cheaper by becoming a beachbody coach and getting a discount, but i dont want to do that. haha. Additionally, I know some would suggest that there are cheaper ways you can get the same pre-workout fix, but I like how E&E comes in a packaged deal, has all the necessary ingredients, and I can slug this down in 5 seconds or add it to a pre-workout smoothie and go on with my day. We are busy people these days you know.. 3/5

Additional information of Beachbody Energy and Endurance:
It really depends on how I feel before a workout, on how much of the package I will use. Most time, and its come mostly from trial and error and listening to my body, I will take this supplement with a pre-workout smoothie to get a kickstart to my workout. I’ve found this to be the most efficient and tastiest of the options. Plus it gives my smoothie a nice lemon-ie kick 🙂

Conclusion of Beachbody Energy and Endurance:
As a whole, I love this product. It is designed exactly to do what it states on the package. The taste is not bad, depending on your preference I guess. I like to either mix it with my breakfast, a pre-workout smoothie, or just take it with a cup of water. The effects can be felt almost Immediately, at least within the first 30 minutes of consumption. Usually I take half the pack, (since thats what I found to work) and go about my workout routine. It definitely helps during workouts as I am able to push harder and get the most out of my workouts. Some would say that there are alternatives to this product, but I like the ease of use and I have found it to work well with my body. As with any supplement, try it first and see if it works for you. Use what you like and find different ways to make it delicious. Me, myself, I use this product because I love it, I dont have side effects, and it tastes great!
