How it works
the Gabor Fitness Tendon Patellar Knee Support Strap Band supports and protects the patella during exercises involving frequent jumping and moving. It helps knees absorb stress and reduces patella injury resulting from activities requiring repeated knee bending and pressure on the knee. The tube-like insert applies pressure to patellar tendon and thus improve patellar tracking and elevation. This helps relieve pains from runner’s knee (chondromalacia – irritated kneecap), jumper’s knee (patellar tendonitis) and osgood-schlatter’s disease. To use, wrap around the leg just under the knee cap. Thread through the buckles and fasten with the hook and loop closure to comfortable fit. To clean, hand wash in cold water with mild detergent.

After suffering some knee pain during my pre-training hikes for a week long backpacking trip on Section J of the PCT, I decided at the last minute to try these. I was able to hike 75 miles in mountainous terrain with daily elevation gains and drops without pain or discomfort. In a nutshell, these simple little straps made the trip memorable in a very positive way!
After 7 days of dusty trails, then rain and mud, these look as pristine as they did right out of the package – they stayed incredibly clean, even though I wore them over my hiking pants every day.
These really provided the right kind of support that I needed, and will be in my arsenal for years to come.

Good purchase.
I was looking for different knee support braces and this one seemed to be much different than other knee braces. Especially because it doesn’t limit movement as much by covering the whole knee from the front and back, and make it difficult to walk while using it. I ordered this for my Dad, as he has been having a lot of trouble with his knee, caused by an accident he had many years ago.
Other braces are either too stiff or too restricting, and this one offers a good support without any of that. He would have a difficult time bending his knee to get in and out of a vehicle or to walk while he’s working. This offers a way to give him support without those restrictions. I am very pleased with the quality and support.

Holy crap on a crap cracker! These work wonders! I was extremely skeptical, but I wore these at a nerf war and I was able to actually run for the first time in years without my knees dislocating and falling to the floor in agonizing pain. I can’t speak to all kinds of knee issues, but if you’re the type of person who hears a pop and then experiences agonizing pain, try these out, it might help.
