Available in a wide variety of weights, yet all Max balls are 14″ in diameter for consistancy. The lighter weight allows the beginner to work with the larger shape, but at a weight they can manage. Max Uses
The standard wall ball throw is a great all-over body exercise that creates enormous potential for increasing athletic performance. The wall ball throw can be made more difficult by increasing the weight of the ball as you perfect the movement. Explosive tossing and catching will help develop strength, coordination, balance, power, and core stability. I was a little hesitant to order this Medicine Ball Red /Black Max because the price of the 20 lb was almost too good to be true. I had great luck with the jfit doorway gym bar so I ordered this medicine ball for my home gym from the same company. I was looking for a soft medicine ball that was larger in circumference than a regular bouncing medicine ball, but did not want a small dead ball. I have been looking for quite some time but the prices were way too high for my budget. When this ball from jfit became available, I was excited but a little reluctant. Thankfully I have been using it for about a week now and I love the feel, the texture of the material is not slick and easy to grab. The size of the ball is perfect for wall ball toss and explosive moves. I was a little overzealous on the weight and it was a bit heavy for a few of the exercises I was doing (med ball breakaways) but I am very impressed with the quality of the ball so will be ordering a 15 lb.
