Review 1: Don’t Weight On It!

Considerable research is taken when I make purchases. As a potential buyer of this product you can be assured that the seller has not influenced my 5-star recommendation, as it was purchased at full price. Previously, I was using a weighted vest to perform weighted pull ups, but when I strained a muscle in my upper back I decided to purchase this weight belt to prevent re-injury or new injury.

This weight belt distributes the additional weight more appropriately, whereas the weighted vest applied excessive pressure on the upper trapezius and neck musculature. Straining for the last couple of reps with the pressure in these areas is what contributed to my injury. I have not re-injured the area or caused new injury since using this weight belt. Thus, this weight belt serves the purpose of additional weight to my exercises while being safe. If you are of a like mind, I highly recommend this product for all the reasons highlighted within this review.

Review 2: If you need a dip belt, don’t cheap out. Get this

The chain is smaller than most dip belts I’ve come across, but that’s not a negative in this case. I’ve thrown a 45lb plate and a couple 10s buttressing either side and this item has held up outstandingly well. Like all Harbinger weight lifting products, the construction is remarkable, handling everything I throw at it with ease. I had some thoughts of spending $5 less and buying from another manufacturer, but I’m sure I’d be replacing it soon and spending nearly twice as much just to get half of what Harbinger delivers. I wholeheartedly recommend this belt; you won’t find anything better for anywhere near this price

Review 3: The speed clip is easy to use and the belt fits him comfortably

Purchased this for my son-in-law and he is over the moon about it. The speed clip is easy to use and the belt fits him comfortably. He is 5’10 and about 170lbs. The chain is 30 inches of steel chain and the belt is made of polypropylene. He did say he is adding some stronger carbiners to hold 4-5 plates because when he tried it at first, it felt like the clip was going to bend so better to strengthen it now.

Very happy with the belt and its quality is great. I went with 4 stars just because he had to add a stronger clip for heavier plates. Very solid belt, though.
