Reviews of Reebok Crossfit Nano 3.0 Mens

Review 1: Sizing seems to be an issue

I finally destroyed my pair of Nano 2.0’s and upgraded to the 3.0’s. My first impression is that it’s a much sturdier (and possibly lighter) shoe than the 2’s – with the same overall platform/ shape. The toe guard on the tip of the toe box seems more substantial and possibly a reason that they fit slightly smaller than the previous pair. I use ‘Superfeet’ insoles and when swapping them into these shoes I actually had to trim a little off of the tip to prevent the insole from curling up in the toe box. I was an 11.5 in the 2’s and bought the same in the 3’s. It seems other reviewers have had sizing issues as well. Before switching the insoles I noticed that the manufacturer insoles were too small, causing my toes to fill the gap between the insole and the tip of the toe box.

Semantics aside, it’s a legit crossfit shoe. I’d be willing to bet these will break in just fine (size-wise), and assume that sizing up to a 12 would have been too roomy. I’m glad I got them, they are much better than the 2’s. The nano 3 is the way to go, at a cheaper cost than the new 4.0’s – which look like the exact same shoe.

Review 2: Not just a Crossfit shoe is great shoe overall!

I heard about this shoe, and because of the price was a bit eskeptical, started doing crossfit with running shoes, and was thinking to get a pair of lifters and keep doing WOD with my running shoes, now I dont have either lifters or runners, this shoe is the perfect combination of both, and is undistructible, mabe because of the flat surface that it has for the BOXEs flor, wont be the best running shoes for WODs that include running for more than 2 miles, then I do recommend running shoes or the now called crosstrainers shoes also if you have the money for it, get a running shoe and a lifter shoe (just for those big weight lift days), but if you want a shoe that is gonna adapt to every single workout, as far as Reebok shoes is, this nano 3.0 and 4.0 are the best choice!

Review 3: Good workout shoe for Krav Maga after adding a supportive insole

I got the Nano 3.0 for Krav Maga workouts indoors on mats. Our instructor recommends we wear some type of indoor court or workout shoe to protect our feet. Running shoes are too sticky on the mats and don’t give you side-to-side support. I tried the newer men’s Nano 5.0 but the toe box was far too huge, and similar story though less drastic for the women’s 4.0s that I also tried. I am a female and usually wear women’s size 9 to 9.5 in normal width. The men’s size 8 fit me perfectly in these 3.0s. So anyone with wide feet is likely to be uncomfortable in these in the normal width, I’m guessing. They fit my foot like a glove.

I took off a star because they have no arch support. I immediately removed the useless flat insole and inserted some nice cushy gel insoles, called Skydex Sofsole. The tongue of the 3.0 is padded, which is a plus for cushioning the top of my foot. The 5.0s had no cushion on the tongue. For Krav Maga, these work well both for our warm ups, which involves a lot of running in place or around the room, and jumping jacks, as well as for shoulder tag and moving around on the mats doing our punches, kicks and other moves. I am amazed at how well they help me move without sticking to the mats or sliding. These make me feel light on my feet, but fully supported. The mesh is nice for ventilation.
