Review 1: Great for using as vertical adapter
Works as advertised to convert standard 1″ bar to Olympic 2″. I purchased three for a power line vertical leg press. I like that they are extremely hard plastic and not metal so there is less friction when removing the plates. The rounded end also helps. You should note that the rounded end cap is also removable and allows you to cut to a customize size if necessary.
(You should cut from the cap end and use a chop saw with appropriate blade for cutting plastic to get a vertical cut to ensure cap fits back on snug/square) When adjusting the set screw be careful not to over tighten. Works great in a vertical position and stays in place. I have not tried horizontally yet so I’m not sure how well set screw would stay in place that way.

I purchased three for my powerline vertical leg press. Since the plates sit horizontally and I have Olympic style plates the adapters hold the plates snuggly in a horizontal position.
Easy to install and comes with an allen wrench to tighten the set screw. For my other powerline machines: crosscable machine and sitting calf machine there was no need to purchase the adapter since the plates hang vertically and there is no stability problems. But I have the adapters and can easily interchange them from one machine to the other with 1 or 2 turns of the allen wrench.
Review 3: Perfect
Solid construction, cap on the end, long enough to fit at least 6 45-pound plates on it, it even has a screw embedded within it (that will never fall out) that you tighten with a little Allen wrench that’s included in the box. You just slide it over your standard size pole, tighten it, and you’re done.
