Reviews of CAP Barbell 10 to 50 lbs. Enamel Coated Cast Iron Kettlebell

CAP Barbell 10 to 50 lbs. Kettlebell Review 1: Best kettlebells on Amazon, bar-none.

I am totally stoked that I bought these. Not only are they very inexpensive compared to virtually every other kettlebell, they look great and are very comfortable in my hands. I bought two 45lb kettlebells, they came in two separate boxes and arrived at the same time. To the people that took picture of chipped kettlebells, if they arrived damaged out of the box, it is absolutely fault of whoever delivered it.

To the people that said they were damaged while using them…I suggest they don’t smash their kettlebells like a barbarian into concrete. These are extremely sturdy and durable, if you are using them PROPERLY, the should last a lifetime. If you drop them on concrete or smash them together while using two, it’s your fault, not the manufacturers fault. Don’t be a barbarian.

CAP Barbell 10 to 50 lbs. Review 2: Perfect condition, well-packed, smooth paint, and great handle

This is the first CAP kettlebell I’ve order on Amazon, and I couldn’t be happier. The handle is a comfortable thickness and is sized well for both one- and two-handed grabs and pulls. I’m not very tall, but my hands are wide and the handle felt just right. It was packaged well in a double-walled, double-banded box with dense styrofoam wedges to keep it from shifting.

Mine had no missing paint, no chips, and no rough spots like some others have reported – just a rust-free, super smooth kettlebell. The paint is very smooth, which I prefer over some of the rough finishes of other brands. And you can’t beat the price, especially with Prime shipping! I’ll certainly order more of these from Amazon, even if it means that my FedEx driver learns to hate me for it.

CAP Barbell 10 to 50 lbs. Review 3: Big and smooth handles that are easy to grip, with an enamel coating that keeps them from rusting, make these great kettlebells

I have some iron dumbbells in my garage, but they end up getting a bit rusty. They still work fine but I have to wash my hands after using them. When I decided to try working with kettlebells (after reading Pavel’s book “Simple and Sinister”) I didn’t want something that would rust.

I ended up getting the 15, the 25, the 35, and the 50 in this brand, and they are exactly what I was looking for. It is a great starter set, and when I’m ready to get a 70 lb kettlebell, I’ll be buying it from the same brand. (Update: I did just buy the 70lb CAP Kettlebell and I like it as I do with the others. Be aware that at that weight the bell itself is very big.)

The weight is nicely balanced. The handle is big enough to grip easily with both hands (and I have big hands). The enamel coating is also easy to hold on to and keeps them looking nice and polished. I’ve had them for a while and haven’t had any problems with the coating cracking. They did come well packaged, and well protected.

I’m very happy with these.
