Reviews of Metolius Super Chalk – Fine

Review 1: Good chalk, but not earth shattering.

This is some good chalk, but is nothing spectacular. I might notice just a bit of improvement from the drying agent, but not enough to jump up and down about. But, it does what it’s made to do, and as long as that is all you’re expecting of it, you’ll be good to go!

Review 2: This chalk tastes best.

I’ve tried many chalks, and this is by far the least chalky tasting of the lot. I don’t really love the taste of chalk, but it’s a great source of magnesium, and I’m kinda low on that so I have to eat it.

I guess if you really like the taste of chalk, this particular product may not be for you and you may want to go for chalkier chalk. Also, it seems to dry my hands more than other chalks, which I guess is neat.

Review 3: metolius super chalk for tents

I have some older tents, that developed a sticky/tachyness to the fly and the floors. Reviews state it is due to some chemical break down over time. I tried the chalk, (as some other recommended) on the sticky surfaces, and it seems to work.

However when i tried to clean off the chalk with a wet towel, the stickyness returned. So, if used for this purpose, it is probably important to leave the chalk residue on the tent surface, and only vacum up the excess. Will see over time if this really works , or need to just get a new tent.
