Review 1: HERE ARE THE FACTS ON THIS FANTASTIC APP.

I have tried several different sound machines and digital sound makers, but this app is the absolute BOMB. I could go on and on about all the stuff that this thing can do, but I don’t want to drag this out, so here’s the facts: Spend two bucks and get the add upgrade right out of the gate.

Trust me. The free upfront app is okay, but the full app is worth it. For two bucks you can do anything with this app. You can listen to the fifty different sounds while doing other stuff at the same time. You can read or play games or whatever. The upgrade will play while you do other activities. The free one won’t. The sounds will stop when you leave the screen.

If you can’t (or don’t want to) spend two bucks, the free app is okay. You get about twenty sounds or so, but there are fifty different sounds on this full app. You can mix up to ten sounds. If you want a rainy day, start one of a half dozen water settings; from river, to ocean waves, to cave trip…then add a little thunder in there, a little wind, maybe a frog peeping or a loon calling (yes, I said A Loon) Oh! Some of the sounds are really cool; the Tibetan monk drone is surreal And the Wind chimes are great. There are yoga and meditation rhythms too.

After you find a mix you like you can store them on a speed column so that the next time you settle down, you just tap the speed setting, and there you go. Not only can you mix the sounds, but you can also adjust the volume for each sound.

The possibilities are ENDLESS. And the settings are not difficult to figure out. This is one of my favorite apps, and one of the best to come along in a long time. Aaaaand you don’t have to be online or WiFi or data…nothing… It’s on your device, and the app itself does not show up as one of my ‘fast drain’ apps.

Even after hours of use. You can set the app to shut down any time you wish. Kinda like a TV timer. So it’s not a battery hog either. It’s just THAT good.

Review 2: the best!!

I have insomnia and so I battle each night trying to get some sleep. Even meds don’t always help. I saw this app and thought I’d give the free mini version a shot. WOW. I am in love with this thing. I can’t wait to buy the full version. I like to make it sound like a nice rain storm since I can sleep through hurricanes and yes I have slept through Charlie here in Florida. Suckers give me migraines too so this way I get some help sleeping WITHOUT the migraines. I am so glad some one made this. Even my mom wants this app. Thank you!

Review 3: Love this app!

I originally downloaded the free version of this app but decided to buy the paid version as my wife and I loved the app so much. I have tried other “melodies” apps, but this one makes it so easy to match the noises you like and adjust each noise to what volume you choose. I like that I can play it in the background while using other apps, too. We also use this on our Kindle, as a white noise machine for our baby and it works great. Much better than spending the money on a real white noise machine. I highly recommend this app.
