10lb. Body Solid Green Bumper Plate Pair
Solid Rubber Olympic Bumper Plates. Quieter and helps protect the floor and equipment. Each bumper plate is fitted with a 3mm thick metal sleeve for proper fit and easy sliding. Use with Olympic size bars only. Raised white numbers markings. All bumper plates are 17.7″ diameter, but vary in based on their weight. IMPORTANT- These are rubber, but are not meant to be thrown around. Consistent abuse may lead to cracks or splits. IMPORTANT- 10lb. plates are thin, and will not support a heavy weight bar by themselves without bending. It is recommended they be used with heavier plates. Lightweight bars are recommended if these plates are used by themselves.

Review 1: Good Product
Item is exactly as described. Great product for home gyms! Very easy to handle – and minimum amount of noise,
as compared to cast plates. Size does make it “fit” well with 45 Lb. “cast” plates – no “clanging.”
Review 2: Workable but you have to be careful with them.
These plates were purchased to enable my wife to perform Olympic weightlifting by starting with the bar on the floor. Normal 10-lb plates are too small in diameter and allow the spring clips to hit the floor first. Normal 25-lb plates prevent the clips from hitting the floor but are too heavy for many of her lifts.
These plates are large enough in diameter to prevent the clips from touching the floor but are not solid from top to bottom. Only the center area seems solid while the rest of the plate is made of hard rubber. Combined with their thin cross section, these plates will bend when mounted to a bar and sitting on the floor.
This creates a wobbly assembly which is workable but somewhat annoying. However, these plates are 100 times better than the RGT bumper plates sold by Sprts Athrty which are soooooo wobbly they are completely unmanageable.

Love these bumper plates, I had another set of 10’s that broke down easily and these appear to be more sturdy!
