Reviews of Fitness Reality 810XLT Super Max Power Cage with 1000 Super Max Weight Bench

Review 1: Great bang for your buck!!

Received this item faster than expected, by about 4 days, not sure if the credit goes to UPS or Paradigm Health & Wellness…
Assembled it in about 90 minutes, by myself. Everything was packaged well, and I do appreciate that the rack only uses one size bolt/washer/nut for all attachment points. (You will appreciate having two 17mm or 7/16 ths socket wrenches, or at least one) It is very sturdy, once assembled I swung, changed grips, and did wild kippng pullups from the top pull-up bar and the rack barely moved.

The safety bars are heavy solid steel (though I haven’t dropped 300 pounds on them yet). Good quality in the construction and design of this rack, L-brackets for the opposite side so the bolts don’t squish the uprights, powder-coated/heavy duty paint that I don’t expect will be getting scratched any time soon. Good aesthetic as well. I’ve seen chintzy weak racks in gyms, and this isn’t one of them. I’m very satisfied with my purchase, especially the low cost/high value.

For reference, I’m 5’7″ and when hanging from the pull up bars, only my toes touch the ground when I point my feet downwards.

Review 2: This is a great power cage

Good quality built piece of equipment. The assembly instructions were easy to follow but truthfully not needed. All bolts and pieces were clearly labeled and fit together perfectly. This is a one man job if you lay it on the floor and put it together then stand it up and tighten all the bolts. Tools we included but they went straight into the trash because they were the typical cheap flimsy type.

Do yourself a favor and use a good socket and wrench set. I’m still amazed of the very affordable price with shipping. This rack will easily hold up for light/medium duty use. Will it actually hold 800 lbs. under heavy use. My guess is not safely but I can’t complain. I give this five stars all day long it works perfect in my basement exactly what I needed.

Review 3: Amazing Rack for the price! Best in class by far!!

The quality of the rack is amazing. Very sturdy without being mounted to the floor/wall. Incredible value for the price.

The bench seems good. I had issues with the bolts putting the bench together (not the rack). The bolts are super soft and break right off before the bolt gets anywhere near tight. The first one I put on is stuck. It’s not totally tight, and it won’t tighten or loosen. The second one I put on broke clean off upon applying any torque. I ran down to the nearest hardware store and got strong replacement nuts/bolts and haven’t had any problems.
