Valor Fitness BD-62 Review 1: Perfect for a small space. Close to commercial grade.

For the price you cannot beat this. I have been working out for 30 years. Now after 2 x shoulder replacements I can no longer lift like I used to. A cable machine is my staple for weight training these days. I needed something that did not take up much room since this machine is going in a 8 x 10 shed that I converted into a gym. It was perfect for what I needed.

Overall the quality is pretty close to a commercial cable machine. That is what I wanted. I really try to avoid any exercise equipment that is made for a consumer vs. commercial quality since I want it to last.

I have to say Valor did a nice job with this machine. The price was right and the quality is top notch. Putting it together was a bit challenging for me since I was not sure about the cable part, but I figured it out. The instructions were not the best. You need to anchor the back of it to a wall stud or it will not be stable so keep that in mind.

Bottom line is this is a decent little machine and the only thing comparable for the price.

Valor Fitness BD-62 Review 2: Very nice cable machine

Very nice cable machine…..very smooth and seems to be well built…..I purchased two of these machines so I could do cable flies and crossover shoulders….the only down side is that when doing cables flies and I pull on each pulley to get started the torque of pulling moves the machine inward …..

it’s not a lot but I’m sure after a while it will loosen …..I even put larger lag bolts than was provided …..so I went to Home Depot and purchased two strips of aluminum and bolted it to machine and then screwed it to the rafters….problem solved…..it’s very sturdy now…..doesn’t move one bit

Valor Fitness BD-62 Review 3: Great deal – very good quality

I have worked out regularly for 25 years. I am building a home gym and have a full rack, dumbbell set. I got this versus the Proline dual pulley. I am happy with my choice. It has smooth action, uses little space and fairly simple to put together if you follow the picture closely. (Took me an hour). Great space saver and the pegged pole allowing different heights is great. Top positon not accessible, but some raise it off the floor to compensate. Worth the money for sure.
