Review 1: This ball has been great for indoor climbing

This ball has been great for indoor climbing. Sits in my chalk bag and easily puffs out clouds of chalk with a squeeze, which has been helpful to combat sweaty hands. Using the ball has worked better than just bare chalk pieces, and I am happy I got the refillable one, so I will be able to continue using it.

Refiling the bag is easy, as the drawstring allows you to open up the mouth of the bag. Works well with large chunky chalk, or fine powdered chalk.

Quality Wise, it’s not disappointing at all !!! I got this recently for use during weight lifting. I was really pissed off with the mess that is created by loose chalk powder. This chalk ball has very good quality chalk powder on it and its easy to use. Puts the right amount of chalk on your hands. Its also handy when you go on a rock climbing trip and need to use chalk regularly.

Because the chalk is in a cotton ball, it releases limited amount chalk out of the ball, keeping the mess created to minimum and easy to clean later.

Its good to keep this in a ziplock bag when not is use to prevent the chalk to spread in your bag.

Review 3: Great if your getting serious about any kind of weight training, highly recommended.

This is a great product if you are having grip troubles with anything from pull-ups to dead-lifts. I purchased this product after I lost some straps and decided it was time work on my grip strength.

My hands tend to get sweaty after a while and because of the chalk having my grip fail is no longer a limiting factor in my workouts. I’ve been able to deadlift over 300 lbs and rack-pull over 400 as well as do weighted pull-ups with a 45 lb plate strapped to me using this chalk. At the end of the day its just chalk and it does what it’s supposed to do.

I’ve been using the same chalk ball for the last 10 months and I could probably still get about another 2-3 months with it. I would suggest keeping it in the bag it comes in or a zip-lock bag, or even better would be a small Tupperware container.
