Beachbody 3 Day Refresh with Shakeology Review 1: This works! But not a walk in the park…

This works! But, not easy…This comes with a booklet with information and directions or steps on what to take from day 1 to day 3. I originally lost 35lbs doing P90X and mainly sticking to the P90X diet (not to the “T”) but 95% of the time. Over a few months (even close to a year) and with some traveling for work I gained half of that back and mainly just bad food choices and fell off the wagon of exercising. Needed to figure out something and get back on track so I looked into this (also looked into the 21 day cleanse but figured I’d do this first).

Day 1 – WORST DAY. By the time lunch time came I felt like stopping everything and just sleep. I was tired, had a pounding headach, hungry, started to think maybe this isn’t right for me. Afternoon came and did one of the dinner options and hit the sack. No energy to do any workout or felt like doing anything else in general. Just hoping tomorrow is a lot better.

Day 2 – Woke up and had a very LIGHT headeach. After drinking shakeology it pretty much disappeared and felt pretty good. In fact, felt like all this energy came back. Wasn’t hungry (but did feel like getting some solid food in me). Had some moments but again, mind was sharp, felt energized and things were moving along. Almost a complete 180 degrees from DAY 1.

Day 3 – Order it! Lost 7lbs (probably water weight) but I’ll take it. Also a view of eating more smaller portions and more healthy options. I feel great. Feels like all the pistons are running again.

Tip: Drink plenty of water. Will help a lot on the first day. Some people are different, some do the first day fine then get hit on the second day but it’s only three days and your not really starving yourself. But seriously, drink plenty of water (half your body weight).

I feel this product worked as expected. It was easy to use and after getting through the first day, I was really not hungry. It is important to read the step by step instructions for each day and learn what you can eat in addition to the shakes. I lost only 3 lbs., but again I felt this was realistic for a 3 day program. It totally got me back on tract and I would use again. AND, the cafe latte is my favorite Shakeology shake. I’m so-so on the chocolate and vanilla, but I really like the cafe latte. This item arrived late, so I returned it because I purchased it locally thru a Beach Body Coach. This item is amazing!! I lost a total of 5 lbs doing the three day cleanse. I started this on Nov 13th, followed the directions pretty closely.

Day 1, I was starving, felt light headed and wanted to give up. i went to bed early because i knew if i stayed up i would snack.

Day 2, i felt awesome, i didn’t feel hungry at all.

Day 3, still did not feel hungry, i had to remind myself to eat. It is now Nov 28th and i’m still down 5 lbs, even after having a cheat day on Thanksgiving Day!.

If you are worried about gaining the weight back, you won’t if you continue your clean eating and exercising. I felt if I didn’t have my cheat day on Thanksgiving, i would be down a total of 7 lbs already. I now do the shakeology every morning for breakfast, cycle 3 times a week and losing weight. I highly recommend.
