Ironmaster Quick-Lock Adjustable Kettlebell
The QLKB handle weighs 22.5 lbs empty and will accept the Quick-Lock Dumbbell weight plates and uses the same locking screws. This makes it a great accessory to expand the capabilities of our adjustable dumbbells and save you money. The standard locking screws will allow building up to 57.5 lb KB weight and with the Add on Kit locking screws you can go up to 80 lbs KB weight. As you can see this is a serious training tool at these kind of weight capacities. It locks up absolutely tight and is safe to swing around aggressively.
The handle is big enough for two handed use but shaped well for single hand. The handle is extra strong and provides just the perfect amount of grip. The shape and ergonomics designed into this KB are the result of extensive R&D. The locking screw will not interfere with your grip with the extra room in the handle area. The QLKB is sold as a single handle but if you like an extra challenge, you can get two!
Reviews of Ironmaster Quick-Lock Kettlebell Handle Adjustable
Review 1: Perfect
I bought one of these about six months ago and have used it extensively along with my Ironmaster dumbbells. My only issue is that I didn’t buy two of them. I will be fixing that soon. I also have the add-on weight kit for the dumbbells, so I have used this handle with no weights, with the short, standard pin, and the long pin. This item can’t go below 22.5 lbs since that’s the weight of the handle itself, but I haven’t had a need for that so far.
Review 2: Worth it.
If you are considering purchasing kettlebells, give this a look. The handle is well-made, with a wide, comfortable handle you can grip easily with both hands. The top is rounded, and tapers into the loadable plates to avoid irritation of your arms with overhead lifting. Locks up securely, so you can swing away without fear of launching a plate or two at a loved one. Just make sure the locking pin is snug before you hoist it.
This is the handle only, if you do not already own Ironmaster plates and a locking pin, you will need to purchase those also. Weight ranges from 22.5 lbs with the handle alone, to 57.5 lbs fully-loaded. Purchase an extended locking pin and you can load the handle to 80 lbs. If you are into kettlebell training, and need more than 2-3 different weights, this is a great choice. I tried the Powerblock and Stamina versions of adjustable kb’s, and they just seemed more cumbersome and flimsy. After a month of regular use, I am still happy with the purchase.
Review 3: Best adjustable KB out there!
I’ve had this for 2 years now and still looks like it is new. This is the handle only which is 22.5 pounds. The grip with this one is way better than any other KB I’ve used. And I have to say that this one is more much better than the one from powerblock. In fact, the whole set (KB and dumbbells) is better than the ones from powerblock. You can add a lot of weight to it if you have the long screws they sell but honestly for the average joe this alone would do.
