XMark Pair of 10 lb. Black Bumper Plates XM-3380-10-P
Eco friendly and superior quality, XMark Bumper Plates are guaranteed to handle the tough demands of everyday, high impact use. Designed with a 2″ stainless steel 2 mm insert and 60% recycled rubber in compliance with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the rugged, solid construction is virtually indestructible. In addition to environmentally friendly rubber, a synthetic rubber is added giving the rubber greater tensile strength. This reduces the likelihood of the bumper plates breaking and reduces the bounce when dropped.
At XMark, our bumper plates are the gold standard for competitive weightlifters, commercial gyms and dedicated strength lifters. Measuring 17.75″ in diameter, XMark bumper plates are available in pairs of 10 lb., 25 lb., 35 lb. and 45 lb. weights.

.I bought 4 of these because they were free shipping and I live in Alaska. It typically costs me more to ship weights than buy them. The bumpers are of decent quality, they are used regularly. The reason I gave these 4 stars instead of 5 is because they are a no/low bounce bumper. They hit the concrete floor in my garage gym like I am dropping regular plates.
I have an economy set of bumpers from Pendlay and they actually absorb the impact with a low bounce. Overall I am happy with the purchase, but buyers should be aware that they are very solid rubber and would be best used on a platform with 1/2″ rubber on it.
I’ve used bumper plates from several different manufacturers and I will say that these have been as good as any. No problems at all for Crossfit-type workouts and pure strength training workouts despite some heavy use.
One issue: These are new plates, and are covered in a layer of protective oil. Make sure you clean them off carefully with a rag before you use or store them, especially in a dusty or dirty environment like a garage gym.
