Reviews of ZoN Soft Medicine Ball

Review 1: Great Value

I purchased this medicine ball to use with Cathe’s weight training DVDs. I use it mostly in core work and some in a “boot camp” style workout. The ball is the size of a regular medicine ball, it’s about 9″ in diameter. This is a good size for my needs; I was looking for something larger than a toning ball (like the Danskin). It has a unique “squishy” feel (my 3-year-old loves squeezing the ball)and it is fun to play with.

The squishiness makes it easy to use for core work, like holding with you knees to do leg lifts. The only downside to this ball is that it has a smooth rubbery surface, which makes it a little slippery if your hands are sweaty. You can’t beat the price for a medicine ball. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive ball to use as part of a weight lifting program.

Review 2: its landing and grip is very soft and easy on wrist joints

When I was in high school, we used a medicine ball for lacrosse conditioning. This one is MUCHbebetter . its landing and grip is very soft and easy on wrist joints. I love using it for workouts or just tossing it on the air and catching it while I lay in my bed.

Review 3: Good Value

Good price, and feels well made. The surface is a bit tacky–not sticky– and will pick up dust and dirt sometimes. But easy enough to wash it and it’s good as new. Soft enough to have a little give if you work out with a partner and throw it back and forth.
