Review 1: I like it with a catch

I like it with a catch.

Its a KB, which is good. Its huge (you could fit a 60 lb KB in this size) which is a negative. Its plastic housing is slick and slippery, not for those with small hands or who’s palms sweat when exercising. Get something else if that is the case. It is big enough to do 2 handed moves easily though, that should be noted. Price is very good, which is why I tried it. KB workouts are a fad of sorts, which I tend not to prefer, but for traditional exercisers/weightlifters this can add some variety which never hurts.

Obviously the other drawback is the fact it is a single weight and not adjustable. Rarely will you get a bunch of movements that allow a 20# in this case to be the perfect weight for all types of moves. If you want versatility over the long term, I suspect you’ll want more options (more KBs or weights, sizes, etc.) Still for price and as an alternative exercise option, there are worse ways to go.

Review 2: Value and Quality

I almost didn’t purchase this KB because of the number of negative reviews, but decided to give a whirl since it was such a good deal. This KB is a bit oversized and it is a vinyl/plastic material that isn’t as solid as a cast iron KB. However, my wife is a petite person… 5’2″ and maybe 120lbs soaking wet… and she has no trouble whatsoever with this KB.

If you’re looking for entry level value, this is it. Yes, it also has a slightly larger handle, but studies have shown a larger handle will burn more fat and increase grip strength… a little uncomfortable at first, but it’s worth it. Great product!

Review 3: Best Price I found on Kettle Bell weights sold separately and not in a set

I recently took up Kettle bell swings for effective exercise. I have always been sporadic in my exercise regime and taking up kettle bells keeps me consistent. When I was sure of the results, which are fast, I wanted to dispense with my makeshift efforts to get the proper weight for each level I was reaching.

I looked at sets but for each of my programs the weights were a set size of three or more that were just odd. The Cap brand was the best price and sold them separately. So I bought the 10, 15 and 20 lb kettle bells. The grips are perfect for any size hand and comfortable to use. I suggest these for anyone who wants to do intense exercise for a short amount of time and needs to work up to heavier weights.

A big plus was the free shipping for that amount of weight. I couldn’t find that anywhere else.
