When I was reading these reviews I wanted a comparison to sprawl, none really mentioned a direct comparison so here is mine after taking the risk of getting bad shorts.
They fit great and the cloth feels really thin but durable. The stitching is triple stitched and I don’t see them tearing. The first impressions of these was cheaply thin and I would like a little more weight to them especially in the belt part. The only con for these is the belt.
I go to the gym a couple times a week. I wanted to get a couple extra shorts to put in my bag and don’t like basketball shorts. I have two pairs of sprawl shorts one of which I have had for over 10 years(the other pair for 3 years) and both still has yet to fade or tear. I have been swimming, sleeping, and training in these shorts and everything in between; also washed the oldest pair maybe over a hundred times.
With that said to compare these WOD shorts Agility 2.0 to my sprawls I can say I really like them and yes they are worth half as much as sprawls if you are just training and not grappling, If you are going to the ground a good bit buy the sprawls.
I still need to put these shorts to the test so I will up date this as time goes on.
Well, when I ordered these in a 38, they were on back order. The seller contacted me within 24 hours and helped me with an alternative AND they gave me a free t shirt. I will be waiting a month or so to try to reorder these pants to give a good review. But as far as customer service goes? these people are awesome!
87cm waist 34.2in.
102cm hips 40in.
I got a 34, and it fits a little big. I think it actually has about 36″ of material around the waist.
You will need to use the string ties to lock this down, or… do what I did, and add elastic in the waist. I can sew.
The material is nice, and soft. The length is long, and comes to my knees.
there is no cut in the side, but the stretchiness of the cloth allows for full range of motion.
You can lay on your back and not have them ride up to see your underwear.
the only issue I have is the stitching between the legs.
Using these for fighting, where your legs are spread apart most of the time, is fine.
If you need to run in these, you will scratch up your inner thigh.
One of our teachers makes us jog 1 mile to start training, then jump rope.
If you jump with both feet.. no problem. If you jump rope like you jog (with alternating feet), then you get the scratching.
They look good.
They feel good (accept the scratching).
Worth the money.
