Q:300 LBS seems very low for a maximum weight limit. Can you please clarify if that is the most someone would be able to squat using this rack?
A:i frequently use more than 300 lbs, didn’t even realize they had the weight limit. My guess is the spotting bars could not handle more weight than 300, but the rack itself has no issues.
A:This is from the product description “Rip:60 trainer attachment for suspended rotation training (Rip:60 straps not included); Weight capacity: 300 lbs.” I think that means that the weight capacity for the suspended ab attachment is 300 lbs.
Q:What is the weight capacity of FreeMotion 620 BE power cage?
A:I was interested in this power cage as well and have the same question. it’s listed as 300lb capacity. I find that too low even for a beginner to grow out off. $700 for a 300# limited power cage is not going to make it in my home gym. unless the seller can clear this up, it’s best anyone who’s interested stay far away from this buy. and if the seller doesn’t respond, can you imagine what kind of support you’ll get after making a purchase and having any kind of issues with it?
A:The 300 lb capacity is probably due to the built in rack teeth. Look at the pictures. To rack the weight you put it back in a preset teeth. I am sure this is just welded. It’s not a thick pin going through the metal.
A:The 300 lbs weight capacity is a user weight capacity– as in nobody over 300 lbs should be trying to do pull ups on this machine. Don’t think that has anything to do with the weights you will be lifting.
